Outback Australia Project
When I was running a womens workshop in a college in India – a confident woman in the audience put her hand up – and suggested it was all very well coming to India, but what about my country? Aren’t there problems there.
She had a point. There are problems in my own back yard. When I returned to Australia , by chance , I had the opportunity to visit a remote community in outback Australia.
This was very special for me. My mother had always been a champion of the Aboriginal people. I visited in her honor, and in the honor of the Aboriginal people.
